I had the first week in September as annual leave HURRRAY. I went through to Edinburgh for the day to spend time with Katie which was so gooood. The sun was actually out all day so we managed to sit outside with cocktails, rare in Scotland, I know.
Went for a birthday meal for Michael’s parents and honestly had THE best Sunday roast ever. YUM.
Michael and I went through to Glasgow on one of our days off for a little wander, shopping and to go to a comedy night. We paid £3 to get into the event and there was over 10 acts. The headliner, Jamie MacDonald was honestly hilarious. Such a good night.
We decided to try and be more active together and we went for a big hill walk. We climbed Meikl Bin and it was a bit of a challenge but SO worth it at the top. Obviously, we got all four seasons throughout the climb but we were lucky that when we got to the top the sun had come out. Just look at that view.
I was quite pleased to get back to work which is super sad but I need the routine in my life. Work was absolutely choc a bloc with the students back but you don’t wanna hear about work right? I had two weekends in a row which I had nothing planned and it was honestly bliss. I read and watched telly and it was so good to chill out at the end of really busy weeks of work.
On the last wekeend of the month, Michael and I headed through to Glasgow to see my niece Nicole. It was such a lovely day and we had tapas which is always a winner!
Went to the cinema to see IT and it was honestly SO funny. If you have not seen it already, I 10/10 recommend you do!
My mental health was a bit dodge at the beginning of the month with anxiety paying an unwanted visit for a couple of days. Therapy is going good though, despite sometimes feeling like absolute rubbish after some sessions.
I feel like I have my blogging mojo back a little bit as I’ve managed to post twice a week for the whole month! Progress, yay!
I have such a busy couple of months ahead which is exciting! What did you get up to this month?
